Introducing Adam Bee, Business Systems Manager
How long have you worked with Investa?/ In the property industry? I’ve been with Investa for 8 months, and in the property industry for 3 years.
What has been your favourite development/project to work on and why? My favourite project has been implementing an industry leading, Facilities Management piece of software. The project matters to me as it directly makes the lives easier for those who manage our assets and interact with our tenants
Three words that best describe you? Driven, Focused, Questioning
What is the most memorable moment of your career? The go-live weekend at ASOS.com when we launched a new financial system that accounts for product shipments all over the world (I still get excited when I see an ASOS parcel!
What is your favourite thing about property? Why? The multi-dimensional nature of the industry. The property industry is the only industry I’ve worked in where the considerations of customers (tenants), investors, and the community are present in day-to-day discussions and decisions around the business
What is the hardest challenge you have faced in the property industry? Delivering connected digital experiences & products that excite. The core platforms that run the property industry haven’t seen much investment in recent years which adds complexity in delivering modern solutions.
What do you do in your spare time? When I’m not with my 8-month-old son, I’m often surfing down at Maroubra or looking for a new single track on the mountain bike. When I go on holiday, I’m often looking to explore a new wine region (Coonawarra is next on my list)
How has a focus on sustainability, health and well-being benefited your work experience? Investa’s focus on providing outstanding end of trip facilities makes my daily cycle-commute a pleasure. Being able to get my morning ride in means that I can jump into the day with a clear mind
What drew you toward working with Investa? The down-to-earth, results driven nature of the company. Everything from the job description right through to the day-to-day work has been transparent, up-front, and we have a good time doing it to boot!
