Flexibility underpins our inclusive culture
We want everyone to thrive at work – and that means working the way that fits in with your needs and your family. That’s why we offer a range of flexible working options and a generous parental leave policy to actively support parents and carers.
All Investa employees are eligible to request flexible working arrangements, including:
- Flexible start and finish times
- Compressed working weeks
- Time off in lieu
- Summer hours.
Our parental leave policy is available to all employees, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, and includes:
- 16 weeks paid leave
- Super paid while on unpaid parental leave
- Foster parent and grandparent leave
- Childcare assistance as part of return to work benefits.

Investa is one of only 115 organisations across Australia to be recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).
This recognition was a result of an in-depth assessment process, looking at a range of criteria including:

- Flexible working
- Support for carers and parents
- Employee consultation
- Harassment and discrimination
- Contribution to driving gender equality across the property sector

Investa and the Australian Workplace Equality Index

In 2026, we proudly received our second consecutive Gold (small employer) certification at the Australian LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awards. This prestigious honour acknowledges our unwavering dedication to fostering LGBTQ+ inclusion within our workplaces.
The Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) serves as the national benchmark for LGBTQ+ inclusion in workplaces across Australia. Achieving recognition through AWEI involves a thorough assessment process, where employers must respond to a set of questions that directly address key areas of inclusion and provide supporting evidence.

In 2021, we received our first certification for being a Family Inclusive Workplace from Family Friendly Workplaces. In 2025, we received our third certification, a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where our people can thrive in both their personal and working lives.
