All Investa employees are eligible to request flexible working arrangements, including:

  •   Compressed working weeks
  •   Time off in lieu
  •   Summer hours.

Our parental leave policy is available to all employees, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, and includes:

  •   16 weeks paid leave
  •   Super paid while on unpaid parental leave
  •   Foster parent and grandparent leave
  •   Childcare assistance as part of return to work benefits.

Our award-winning culture is recognised by the WGEA and WEIA for our diversity and inclusion initiatives, including support for LGBTQ employees and our influence driving gender equality across the broader industry.

Investa is one of only 115 organisations across Australia to be recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).

This recognition was a result of an in-depth assessment process, looking at a range of criteria including:

Award winners in LGBTQ inclusion

Investa and the Australian Workplace Equality Index

In 2024, we were awarded Silver (Small Employer) certification for the Australian LGBTQ Inclusion Awards AWEI, in recognition of our ongoing commitment to LGBTQ inclusion at work.

The Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) is Australia’s national benchmarking instrument for LGBTQ inclusion within workplaces. Recognition is based on rigorous assessment, which requires employers to answer a series of very specific questions relating to areas that directly impact inclusion – and submit supporting evidence.

In 2021 we received our first certification for being a Family Inclusive Workplace from Family Friendly Workplaces. In 2023 we received our second certification recognising our continuing efforts to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where our people can thrive in both their personal and working lives.
