126 Phillip Street | Celebrating Investa's 25 years

With possibly the most recognised roofline in Sydney, 126 Phillip Street is an icon. Even LEGO developed a 126 Phillip Street set available for those keen to build their own replica.

As we celebrate our 25th birthday, we’re featuring some of our most iconic buildings to recognise the contribution they’ve made to shaping our cities and modern workplaces.

Designed by Sir Norman Foster, Investa developed the building which was completed in 2005. Well-known for its soaring lift atrium and speedy lifts, the building has appeared in countless TV shows including Rake and Crownies.

126 Phillip Street was ahead of its time with its commitment to creating a grand public space on the ground-plane.

The ‘assembly’ provides space for connecting retail and dining with its 15-metre-high covered plaza connecting both Phillip and Hunter Streets.
