Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer at Investa, Peter is responsible for the group’s strategic direction and overall leadership. 

With extensive experience in property, funds management and finance he has held senior roles across the industry over the last 25 years.  

Prior to joining Investa, Peter held senior roles with AMP Capital Investors and BDO Corporate Finance. 

Before being appointed CEO, Peter held the position of Chief Investment Officer, where he was responsible for optimising investment performance and identifying and implementing strategic group initiatives. Prior to this, Peter was Fund Manager of Investa Commercial Property Fund (ICPF). 

Peter also managed capital relationships, oversaw capital transactions, research and commercial developments, and provided investment support to all clients. 

Peter has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). He has a Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Peter is a member of the Property Council of Australia’s National Board and President of its Capital Markets Divisional Council. Peter is also a member of the Property Champions of Change Group, reflecting his commitment to industry leadership and advancing gender equality.

Sally Franklin

Chief Operating Officer, Real Estate

In her role as the Chief Operating Officer, Real Estate, Sally is responsible for the Real Estate Operations and Services teams. Sally’s teams include the full suite of Property Management, Leasing, Procurement, Capital Projects, Building Technology, ESG and Safety functions across the Office and Living platforms. 

Sally has over 25 years’ experience in the commercial property industry and prior to joining Investa in 2007, was Fund Manager for the MacarthurCook Office Property Trust. Prior to this, Sally was responsible for the National Property Strategy at Telstra, was Property Consultant at Urbis and was a valuer at CBRE.

Sally has a Master of International Finance and also has a Bachelor of Business Degree (Property), an Estate Agents Licence (Victoria and Queensland) and has practiced as a qualified AAPI valuer.

Brendan O'Brien

Brendan O'Brien

Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer, Brendan is responsible for overseeing the finance strategy, operations, and financial performance of the Group. With over 25 years in various executive and origination roles across investment management, private equity and investment banking in the real estate and finance sectors, Brendan brings a wealth of expertise in business leadership, operational management, and strategy formulation and implementation. 

Before joining Investa, Brendan was the Director of M&A and Retained Interests at AMP Limited. He was also a senior member of the real estate leadership team at AMP Capital, where he led the finance function and operations team across the real estate platform. Brendan's career includes various roles in private equity and corporate M&A including at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Archer Capital and Sonic Healthcare.

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) (with distinction), as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).

As Chief Operating Officer, Corporate, Amy leads Investa’s enabling business functions to drive operational performance and strategic execution. Amy is responsible for strategic oversight of the People & Culture, Technology, Marketing & Communications, Strategic Planning & Transformation functions. She plays a pivotal role in shaping Investa’s corporate identity, ensuring it is reflected through employee experience, communications, and organisational culture.

With over 20 years’ experience across human resources, business transformation, operational leadership and consulting, Amy combines a sharp commercial lens with a people-centred approach to enterprise leadership. She plays a key role in aligning operational capabilities to ensure Investa is equipped to deliver on its strategic priorities and long-term objectives.

Prior to joining Investa in 2016, Amy was Director, People & Performance at The GPT Group, where she held a series of senior human resources and business transformation roles over 10 years, including specialist positions in remuneration and change management. Before joining the real estate sector in 2007, Amy held human resource consulting roles in organisational psychology and executive development.

Amy has a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Organisational Psychology, a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Chief Investment Officer

Adam is the Chief Investment Officer, where he is responsible for the investment management function, as well as investment opportunities and initiatives including new business acquisition, strategic execution, market research and capital transactions.

Formerly Executive Director, Origination at Lendlease, Adam has also held Head of Investment and Capital Markets roles at Lendlease.

Adam has more than 20 years’ experience in the real estate sector including 15 years at Mirvac where he was involved in research, investor relations, transactions, development and funds management.

Adam has a Bachelor of Arts and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Economics from Macquarie University and an AMP from INSEAD, France.

 

Head of Developments
Mark Tait

Mark Tait

Head of Developments

Mark is the Head of Developments for Investa, specialising in complex large-scale developments. With more than 20 years’ experience, Mark has worked on a number of Investa’s major development assets across the commercial property and build to rent portfolios and leads the team on new development opportunities.

Mark specialises in the successful delivery of major projects involving multiple stakeholders including owners, construction and design teams, clients, tenants and authorities.

Mark’s leadership extends across national projects and recently completed projects including the PCA award-winning Sixty Martin Place, Sydney and Barrack Place, Sydney.

Prior to joining Investa in 2009, Mark worked for Citta Property Group as the Development and Construction Manager where he was responsible for the delivery of the 2006 Commonwealth Games Village (Parkville, Victoria). Prior to Citta, Mark worked at Lendlease.

Mark holds a Civil Engineering Honours Degree and a Masters of Property Development. Mark is a Green Star accredited professional and sits on the University of NSW’s Arts, Design and Architecture advisory board.

Lesley Chan

Chief Legal & Risk Officer 

In her role as the Chief Legal & Risk Officer, Lesley is responsible for the legal, governance, risk and compliance functions of the business.  

Lesley has over 15 years’ experience in funds and investment management across a number of asset classes. 

Lesley joined Investa in 2022 as Senior Legal Counsel where she was a trusted partner across all aspects of the real estate business. Most recently, Lesley expanded her role to include Corporate Transformation Director at Investa leading various business improvement projects. 

Prior to joining Investa, Lesley was Senior Legal Counsel at AMP Capital for over ten years. During her time with AMP Capital, Lesley advised on funds structuring and management, strategic transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and governance. Lesley commenced her legal career at top tier law firm Herbert Smith Freehills.  

Lesley has a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)/Law from the University of New South Wales.

Brett Robson

Brett Robson was appointed as Non-Executive Director of Investa Management Holdings in August 2024 and Chairman in December 2024. Brett has significant professional experience, including 21 years with Macquarie Group in roles spanning real estate asset management, principal investing, financial advisory and capital raising services.  
 
Brett was appointed Chair and Non-Executive Director of ESR Group on 3 July 2025.
 
Prior to his non-executive roles, Brett was Head of Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Real Estate where he drove the investment in and development of workplaces, living environments and supply chains. 
 
In addition to providing strategic leadership and oversight as division head, Brett was a member of the MAM Executive Committee, chaired the Real Estate Investment and Management Committees and sat on the investment committees of several of MAM Real Estate’s real estate funds, including the Global and Asia-Pacific opportunistic funds and MAM Real Estate’s core/core plus real estate funds in Europe and the Americas.  
 
Prior to Macquarie, Brett spent over 11 years at Lendlease, where he held senior roles covering real estate funds, asset and development management. 
 
In April 2025, Brett was announced as a senior advisor to an investor group, led by Starwood Capital Group, Sixth Street and SSW Partners, to oversee the $7.1 billion privatisation of industrial developer and fund manager ESR.
 
Brett holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Diploma – Applied Finance and Investment.

Rebecca is an internationally experienced business leader with a strong track record in governance and strategy. She was appointed to the boards of Investa Wholesale Funds Management Limited (IWFML) and Investa Commercial Property Fund Holdings (ICPFH) as a Non-Executive Director in October 2018 and was appointed to the role of Chairman in August 2022.

She also brings deep boardroom expertise to Investa Management Holdings (IMH), having joined as a Non-Executive Director in October 2021 and served as Chairman from September 2022 to November 2024.

Her broader board portfolio includes Non-Executive Director roles with Macquarie Group, Macquarie Bank, Djerriwarrh Investments Limited, and UniSuper Limited. She is the former Chairman of OZ Minerals Ltd and has previously held directorships with Goodman Group and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Rebecca is also involved in the not-for-profit sector as a member of Chief Executive Women, a Non-Executive Director of Melbourne Business School, and a member of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) Director Consultative Panel.

Prior to her non-executive career, Rebecca spent 23 years as an executive in the energy industry. 

Rebecca holds the degrees of Bachelor of Town Planning (Hons) and Master of Applied Science (Project Management). She has attended executive management programs at Harvard Business School, Cambridge University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and was named a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to business through leadership roles in compliance, audit and finance in June 2025.

Non-Executive Director

Jennifer Lambert is a highly regarded company director with extensive leadership across Australia's business, finance, and property sectors. Her board expertise spans listed companies, private enterprises, and not-for-profit organisations.

She was appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the boards of Investa Wholesale Funds Management Limited (IWFML) and Investa Commercial Property Fund Holdings (ICPFH) in October 2021 and later joined the Investa Management Holdings (IMH) board as a Non-Executive Director in September 2022.

Jennifer currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of BlueScope Steel Limited, NextDC Limited, REA Group Limited and Shore School. She is Chairman of the BlueScope Audit Committee, the NextDC Audit and Risk Committee and the REA Group Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.

Jennifer's early executive career was at PwC, where she spent over a decade leading audit, acquisitions, disposals and capital raisings across a range of industries including insurance, retail, real estate and buildings materials. She later held CFO roles in the real estate funds management sector at Valad and 151 Property.

Jennifer is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), where she is a member of the Reporting Committee.

Alessandro Fiascaris

Alessandro Fiascaris is Head of Asia-Pacific, Oxford Properties, a leading global real estate investor, asset manager and business builder.

Alessandro sits on Oxford’s Investment Committee and leads a team responsible for investments in Asia-Pacific.

Prior to joining Oxford, Alessandro worked at Blackstone for more than fifteen years in Singapore, Hong Kong and London.

Alessandro holds a BA Mathematics from Cambridge University and an MBA from Stanford University. He currently lives in Singapore.
