Following the recent opening of three new display homes, Breezes Muirhead’s Builder Display Village now features nine contemporary homes, from seven of the Territory’s leading builders.

Defence Housing Australia (‘DHA’) and Investa Land are developing Breezes Muirhead, a sustainable residential community taking shape in Darwin’s sought-after northern suburbs.

The three display homes showcase the design and construction expertise of About Homes and Kassiou Homes, both new to the Breezes Muirhead builder team, and include a second display home from Saroukos Homes.

Breezes Muirhead’s Builder Display Village now offers the largest range of builders of any display village in the Top End. Also open for inspection are homes from award-winning builders, Killarney Homes, Matrix, S&M Construction and The House Factory.

A Family Fun Day held to celebrate the expansion of the Builder Display Village attracted thousands of visitors. The event raised funds for Royal Darwin Hospital and included performances from local schools and dance groups, demonstrating the strong sense of community that has developed.

“Our builder partners reported a strong interest among visitors to the display village in how to build a home that complements the Top End’s tropical climate and delivers a healthy living environment and lower than average running costs,”said Paul Perkovic, Project Director NT, Investa Land.

“At Breezes Muirhead we encourage the construction of climatically responsible homes and provide design guidelines to assist purchasers in making choices that will balance comfort and affordability with true sustainability,” Mr Perkovic said.

Each of the nine display homes features numerous energy saving initiatives. Designs capture the essence of the tropical lifestyle, including wide eaves, covered verandahs and flow-through ventilation to reduce reliance on air-conditioning and provide perfect spaces for al-fresco living.

The second release of land within the popular Aeris neighbouroood at Breezes Muirhead will be available for purchase from Saturday 31 May. Aeris is situated close to a community park, with some lots offering a parkside position. Land lots range in size from 450m² to 4,000m² and will be priced from $290,000*.

Land at Breezes Muirhead consistently sells-out within hours of release.  Prospective purchasers are encouraged to visit the Sales and Information Centre prior to the land release on Saturday 31 May, to discuss the range of lots available and the purchasing process.
