Celebrating Leadership and Sustainability at the 2025 WiBF National Industry Awards

Lisa Story and Margot Black at Investa

The Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) 2025 National Industry Awards shine a spotlight on the individuals and organisations championing gender diversity, innovation and excellence across Australia’s banking and finance sector.

Investa is proud to celebrate Lisa Story, General Manager, Treasury, and Margot Black, General Manager, Corporate Sustainability, who have been shortlisted for the ESG and Sustainability Initiative of the Year. Their leadership has been instrumental in strengthening Investa's position at the forefront of sustainable finance.

Over the past year, Lisa and Margot have helped drive significant progress across our business. Investa’s managed funds, ICPF and IGO, are now 100% Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI)‑certified green finance, while several major assets, including Parkline Place, Indi Sydney, Indi Footscray and Indi Southbank, are supported by green debt facilities.

Our commitment to decarbonisation continues to deliver measurable outcomes. In the last 12 months, Investa-managed buildings achieved net zero scope 1 and 2 emissions and secured Carbon Neutral Climate Active certification, underpinned by 100% renewable electricity and targeted decarbonisation strategies.

As a proud Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) adopter, we are investing in nature-positive initiatives across our portfolio – from rooftop beehives to marine ecosystem restoration in partnership with the Sydney Institute of Marine Science and Operation Crayweed.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Lisa, Margot and all the finalists whose work is shaping a more inclusive, sustainable and resilient future for the industry.
