Like many businesses, Investa has been carefully monitoring events and government advice relating to COVID-19, to ensure we make the best decisions regarding the health and wellbeing of our staff, tenants, contractors and visitors.
Our COVID-19 Working Group is actively implementing Investa’s Pandemic Response Plan, in line with current threat levels and government advice.
With a focus on proactive communication and preventative action across all areas of our business, we’ve put in place a range of measures to ensure Investa’s business operations continue to operate smoothly, with minimal interruptions.
All Investa owned and managed buildings across Australia will remain fully operational and tenants will continue to be able to access their places of work and run their businesses as they deem appropriate.
Our goal is to ensure our people and customers are well looked after and we are doing our part to slow the spread of the virus throughout the community.
While this is new territory for all of us, Investa is confident in its ability to navigate it with the professionalism and commitment our people are known for.
From 17th March 2020, all Investa staff will work remotely unless there is a business-critical reason for them to come into the office. This will not interrupt services or business operations and our team remain accessible to our customers via phone and video conferencing. Some operational and customer-facing roles such as our Facilities Managers and concierge staff will remain in our buildings to ensure service levels are maintained.
Our people will conduct most meetings via video conferencing, utilising the excellent technology Investa has to enable this.
For Our Tenants, COVID-19 Operational Response Plans have been deployed across our buildings to help manage the potential spread of the virus and assist our tenants. A range of preventative measures continue to be implemented in our buildings such as elevated cleaning regimes to high touchpoint surfaces and areas, provisionof hand-sanitiser stations to main lobby entries of all buildings and pre-screening of contractors, in line with government travel, health and self-isolation advice.
