On Thursday evening, Investa hosted their annual New South Wales Leasing Agent’s Function. Held in the Sculpture Terrace at the Museum of Contemporary Arts, Sydney, more than 100 guests gathered to recognise the industry’s top leasing performers.

The event acknowledges the hard work of the leasing agents and agencies that Investa have worked with over the last 12 months, providing the opportunity to thank them for their contribution and for the significant role they play in representing Investa’s properties in the market.

“While successful transactions are always attractive and rewarded financially, Investa also seeks to reward effort, innovation and creativity amongst the leasing agents who work with us, with a view to inspiring outstanding performance,” said Investa Group Executive, Michael Cook.

Those in attendance included notable representatives from many large agencies across Australia including; David Howson, Head of Leasing Knight Frank, Tim O’Connor, National Head of Leasing, JLL, Simon Hunt, Managing Director, Office Leasing, Colliers and Grant Jennings, Director, Cadigal. Investa guests included Jonathan Callaghan, Chief Executive Officer, Jason Leong, Fund Manager, Investa Commercial Property Fund, Penny Ransom, Fund Manager, Investa Office Fund and Group Executives Sally Franklin and Michael Cook.

Mr Cook said: “Rob Dickins from Savills was awarded Agent Of The Year due to his diligence and professionalism on a number of transactions at Deutsche Bank Place, Sydney and the soon to be complete Barrack Place, at 151 Clarence Street, Sydney.  This award recognises the outstanding contribution of Rob and his team.

Louise Rowe from Colliers picked up the coveted Deal Of The Year for the McAfee transaction in North Sydney, which enabled an improvement in both the rental level and lease term for the space.
