Investa continues to lead the way in providing tenants with value beyond the space they lease, this time with the launch of its new tenant Health and Wellbeing program. Designed in partnership with leading healthcare provider Bupa, the program aims to help businesses located in Investa buildings achieve better health and work/life balance for their staff, through a range of services, information and online tools.

Developed as a holistic offering, the program captures the entire spectrum of health and wellness across body, mind and environmental factors. Facilitated by Investa’s Insite tenant portal and delivered by Bupa, Investa building occupants can take advantage of a range of services such as heart health assessments, meditation classes, nutrition consultations, healthy cooking demonstrations and ergonomic screenings. The services are supplemented with information on a range of related topics such as managing work stress, family health, positive parenting and exercise, as well as a comprehensive online health assessment tool.

Sally Franklin, Group Executive, Real Estate Services & Business Operations at Investa said: “We see ourselves as a strategic property partner for our customers. An important part of this, is providing a service that helps our tenants fulfil the potential of their employees every day that they come to work, by providing working environments that put their people first."

Through our new tenant health and wellbeing program, we have the potential to help thousands of people be at their best inside and outside of work, which is something we’re really excited about. If this also contributes to boosting the performance of our tenant’s businesses, then this is a great outcome.”

The program was designed in partnership with Bupa and is offered as stand-alone service or one that works in tandem with wellness programs already being provided to staff by tenant organisations. Bupa provides corporate health support for over 3,000 businesses Australia wide and believes that a focus on health in the workplace increases productivity and overall happiness for employees.

Teya Barnett, Wellness Program Manager, Customer Experience at Bupa said: “At Bupa, we understand that a holistic and well implemented health plan can create a positive impact on the success of an organisation, by reducing injuries and illness, whilst increasing productivity and staff loyalty. Bupa have therefore invested in the infrastructure to provide its corporate partners with targeted WorkHealth programs and services that assess, manage and protect employee health and wellbeing.

We think the program being offered to tenants at Investa buildings incorporates a great mix of services, information and resources across the key areas of health and wellness – which is a great value-add to those companies wanting to look after their employees holistically.”

Ms Franklin added: “As an employer ourselves, we know how important it is to meaningfully support our employee’s health and wellness in order to foster an engaged and productive workforce.

If we’re now able to help our tenants achieve this, then this is a great example of being aligned with our customers and providing a service that offers long term benefits to their businesses.”

The program is available at nine Investa buildings nationally, including 420 George Street, 135 King Street, 1 Market Street and 133 Castlereagh Street in Sydney, 140 Creek Street and 259 Queen Street in Brisbane and at 120 Collins Street and 567 Collins Street in Melbourne. An additional fifteen Investa buildings will join the program in early 2018.
