Mo’st offers rou jia mo – a doughy and firm Chinese bun filled with different meats and coriander, capsicum and cumin. It’s said to be the world’s oldest sandwich, dating back 2300 years. As well as the classic pork and coriander edition, they’re serving inventions such as rice-coated five-spice meatballs with chips and pickles, and Hainanese chicken with fried onion and cucumber. A traditional rou jia mo would be palm sized and sold on the street as a snack, but here they’re double the size and you can also pick up a coffee, made with Five Senses beans.
