Investa has announced a number of Non-Executive Director appointments following the retirement of James Evans from its Board this month after 10 years of service.

Jennifer Lambert has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Investa Commercial Property Fund (ICPF) trustee board, Investa Wholesale Funds Management Limited (IWFML) and will also assume the role of Chair of the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee of Investa Property Group, which was previously held by Mr Evans.

Ms Lambert currently holds Non-Executive Director roles at REA Group, NEXTDC and BlueScope and was formerly a Non-Executive Director of Investa Office Management Holdings Pty Ltd (IOMHPL). Ms Lambert has extensive finance, property and leadership experience and was previously Chief Financial Officer of 151 Property (formerly Valad Property Group), owned by Blackstone, and prior to this was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Rebecca McGrath, currently a Director of IWFML, has been appointed as a new Non-Executive Director of its management board IOMHPL. Ms McGrath is an internationally experienced business leader, who holds several prominent Board positions including Chairman of ASX-listed Oz Minerals and Non-Executive Director roles at Macquarie Group and Goodman Group.

Ms McGrath previously spent 23 years with BP Group in a range of operational and strategic leadership roles in Australia, the UK and Europe, which included the roles of Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, BP Australia.

Investa Chairman David Baffsky thanked Mr Evans for his contribution and welcomed Ms Lambert and Ms McGrath as Non-Executive Directors to the respective Boards.

James has also played a key role on the IOMHPL Board, overseeing the business strategy, governance, operations, risk and compliance of the Investa management platform over the last 5 years,” Mr Baffsky said.

I welcome Jennifer Lambert as a Director of IWFML, she brings extensive experience to the Board in the areas of tax, treasury, compliance and capital transactions, which will support the fund’s continued performance.”

I also welcome Rebecca McGrath to the IOMHPL Board. She brings a strategic global outlook to the role, with a strong understanding of the property sector and in-depth knowledge of operations, risk and finance,” he continued.
