Real Estate Services

Oversees implementation of owner strategies and delivery of overall asset performance along with management of major tenant relationships, leasing strategy and negotiation, implementing capital expenditure plans and meeting compliance and reporting requirements.

Property management implements asset plans and property budgets, fosters tenant relationships and retention, administers leases, reports on financial and operational targets and co-ordinates leasing campaigns and lease deal approvals.

Facilities management sources and manages external contractors, overseeing hard and soft building services that enhance building performance and presentation. They are responsible for operational budgets and effective life-cycle management of plant and equipment.

Implements buy/sell strategies for our private mandate clients, identifying and underwriting investment opportunities and managing deals, including due diligence, negotiation, structuring and closure.

With a strong track record in successfully re-developing new and existing assets and securing major pre-commitments from blue chip tenants, this team is accountable for all aspects of commercial development on behalf of our mandate clients including liaison with government, planning authorities and community groups.

Oversees the asset’s capital works programs in line with the project brief, budget, program owner’s requirements and OH&S framework.

Real Estate Operations

Develops and implements market-leading sustainability and safety practices to reduce risk, lower operating costs and attract tenants, while contributing to rental growth and more efficient capital works programs. This function also contributes to regular compliance and benchmark reporting for the assets.

Provides information and insights into the drivers of the Australian office market to guide group asset management and investment strategy. Drives innovation through identification and assessment of emerging market opportunities.

Responsible for our national operations platform for building facilities services and systems and for managing our supply chain and maintaining ethical, commercial and sustainable procurement practices. Other responsibilities include supply forecasting and planning, tender strategy and programming and achieving operational and financial efficiencies through competitive tendering.

Support the interests of our mandate clients with activities focused on tenant attraction and retention and asset profiling.

Kim Gregory

Funds Manager, Mandates

Kim Gregory is the Fund Manager, Mandates and is responsible for the delivery of investment management services to Investa’s private clients, setting and executing investment strategies to ensure performance and return objectives are delivered in accordance with client requirements. Kim has over 20 years of experience in the property industry across commercial, retail and industrial sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Investa in 2011, she held various roles at Brookfield Multiplex, Principal Global Investors and AMP Capital.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Business (Property), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment and currently chairs the NSW Office Committee and is an Executive Officer on the NSW Division Council for the Property Council of Australia. Kim is a Licenced Real Estate Agent and a member of the API, FINSIA and AICD (Graduate).

Colin Fung

Senior Fund Analyst, Mandates

Colin Fung is the Senior Fund Analyst for Investa Property Group’s private mandates. Colin is responsible for investment analytics and supports the implementation of private mandate strategies including the oversight of asset management, capital management, capital transactions, investor relations and compliance.

Colin has over 16 years of experience in the finance industry including more than 9 years in the property sector specialising in office, industrial and retail assets. Prior to joining Investa in 2014, Colin was Investment Analyst with the Toga Group and Assistant Fund Manager with Valad Property Group.

Colin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) and a Master of Commerce (Business Economics and Statistics) from the University of New South Wales. Colin is a member of CPA Australia.
