Investa is proud to once again be recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA). This national citation places Investa among only 139 organisations across Australia, with recognition held continuously since 2019.

The Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation recognises organisations that demonstrate sustained commitment to advancing gender equality through action, accountability and outcomes.

Mary Wooldridge, CEO at WGEA congratulated Investa on its recognition, noting the importance of embedding gender equality into everyday workplace experience.

“Holding the Workplace Gender Equality Citation provides national recognition that Investa is deeply committed to positive action to achieve gender equality in their workplace,” Ms Wooldridge said.

“Citation holders demonstrate strong gender‑equal outcomes at the moments that matter most to women and men at work. They go beyond policy and programs, embedding gender equality into the everyday employee experience.

“Committing to clear targets and using insights from employee surveys, these employers turn data into action, strengthening safety, fairness and opportunity for everyone in their organisation.”

Sarah Hua, General Manager People & Culture at Investa, said the recognition reflects both organisational commitment and employee involvement.

“This recognition reflects the consistency of our approach and the role our people play in driving progress,” Ms Hua said.

“Gender equality at Investa is built through engagement, transparency and accountability. While we’re proud of the progress we’ve made, we know there’s more to do, and we remain committed to advocating for gender equality and inclusion.”

Investa’s recognition followed an in‑depth assessment process, which examined a broad range of criteria, including practices across leadership, remuneration, flexible working arrangements, and support for carers and parents.
