The launch of Bloomdale's new 10-home Display Village in Diggers Rest was a definite crowd pleaser on Saturday (28 Feb) with more than 200 homebuyers and their families at the event.

To mark the opening of the Display Village, City of Melton Mayor, Cnr. Sophie Ramsey and Investa General Manager VIC, Paul O'Brien, spoke before a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Our council embraces the opportunity to work with developers across all levels of government to deliver quality infrastructure and services that meet the needs of our growing community, the expansion of the Diggers Rest township will provide vital population growth to support a range of new commercial, retail and community facilities in addition to upgrading our existing public assets.

"You should be incredibly proud of what you have rolled out here. The community had a vision and Investa Land had a vision, thank you for choosing Diggers Rest," said Mayor Ramsey.
