Investa Property Group is celebrating its win at the recent Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Queensland Awards, receiving the coveted Residential Subdivision Award for its Brentwood Rise development, located in the burgeoning Springfield Growth Corridor at Augustine Heights.
The UDIA Queensland Awards program is one of Queensland’s most respected and valued industry awards, created by and for the development industry to recognise excellence in innovation.
General Manager, Investa Land QLD, Bruce Harper, said the award was testament to Investa’s commitment to delivering quality, well-serviced master planned communities.
“Our vision for Brentwood Rise was to create a balanced urban configuration that delivered on lifestyle, connectivity and convenience, offering affordable family-sized blocks in a natural bushland setting,” Mr Harper said.
Mr Harper said environmental preservation was an important consideration in developing the site.
“We invested over $3 million in rehabilitating and protecting the site’s natural assets, developing a vital wetlands system, facilitating fauna movement and developing the road and path network to maximise tree retention.”
Launched to the public in 2007 and currently selling the final stages, the 72.17-hectare development comprises 438 blocks ranging in size from 327sqm to 1,298sqm, with a mixture of flat and sloping blocks currently priced from $169,900.
Tree-lined streets, 26.5km of walking and cycle paths and a 5,000sqm park and playground define the neighbourhood and public spaces, providing valuable community amenities.
Mr Harper said the diverse range of block sizes, open green space, affordability and proximity to key infrastructure had offered great appeal to buyers, with the development 85 per cent sold.
“The community is surrounded by first class shopping, education, transport and leisure facilities including The University of Southern Queensland and one of Queensland’s largest shopping and leisure precincts, Orion. Not to mention the thriving retail hubs of Mt Ommaney, Indooroopilly and Toowong 30 minutes away,” he said.
Bordering the exclusive Brookwater golfing community, Brentwood Rise’s elevated position against a backdrop of native foliage is complemented by 60 hectares of parkland and open green space, offering residents seclusion, serenity and spaciousness.
“When you combine access to the growing list of local amenities with a value for money price tag and an attractive bushland setting that is an easy commute to Brisbane, we believe Brentwood Rise provides a rare opportunity for new home buyers to achieve their dream lifestyle.
“The standard of finish is second to none with particular attention given to landscaping and the presentation of public areas throughout the development.
”Through a combination of best-practice urban design, innovative environmental and engineering solutions and a commitment to integration with the local community, Investa has delivered a high quality residential master planned development that is contributing positively to the local community and urban landscape.
