Golf day raises almost $50,000
October 5, 2012
Former PGA professional and Australian Open winner, Craig Parry and cricketer Mark Waugh were among the 120 golfers who participated in a charity golf tournament at Kooindah Waters Residential Golf and Spa Resort recently, raising just under $50,000 for homeless children.
The Charity Golf Day was conducted as a fundraising event for the Property Industry Foundation’s (PIF) National Hard Hat campaign, which raises money to support charities that assist homeless kids across Australia. It is Investa’s 4th annual Charity Golf Day and just one of the fundraising events the company hosts nationally to raise money for the PIF Hard Hat Campaign. In 2011, Investa raised $130,700 in total for the Hard Hat Campaign.
“We hope that by supporting PIF with ongoing fundraising activity we can provide those organisations that work with Australia’s homeless children with a well-deserved helping hand,” said Cameron Holt, Head of Investa Land.
