Group Overview
During the year Investa operated exclusively in Australia. We owned and operated commercial buildings in all the mainland Australian state capitals and the ACT and undertook residential, commercial and industrial development activities along Australia’s eastern seaboard and in Western Australia.
Our residential construction division, Clarendon, operated in the greater Sydney region and South East Queensland. Clarendon’s Melbourne-based construction division underwent a comprehensive restructure and was relaunched in mid-2008.
In the fourth quarter of 2008, Clarendon was separated from Investa and now operates as a stand-alone company. The separation will free both companies to focus on their primary businesses and eliminate unnecessary corporate overhead and duplication. More information about our business is available here.
